The professional qualification in Pilates MAT (or the call Solo Pilates) is aimed at people who seek improvement in the area – whether to teach classes or just for their own accomplishment. O Pilates is a body conditioning system that was developed by the German Joseph Humbertus Pilates to promote physical and mental balance and is indicated for those looking for a strong, harmonious and healthy body. The large machines used in some Pilates studios are dispensed with Evolution method, in which practitioners use their own body weight and some accessories such as balls, weights and discs, to assist in exercises to tone the body muscles, perform postural realignment and stretching. In the Evolution Method, all exercises meet very clear objectives. The movements are performed in progression, an evolution in theory and practice. Classes have one module per month (8 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday morning).
