O Acrobatic tissue is presenting being an aerial circus modality. It is not known for sure who invented it, but what is believed is that the technique is an extension of smooth rope work, a modality that was formerly made of sisal and is currently made of cotton. The lack of rules and the need to innovate and create, a typical intention of the performing arts, gave rise to different forms of fabric practice in modernity.
Thus, the way of fixing/tying the fabric, as well as the height, can vary, influencing the types of locks/keys, tricks and falls. In general, the fabric is above 4 meters, going up to 12 meters, but it is worth mentioning that the initiation work in this practice is carried out a few meters from the ground. Gradually, the student learns and develops more elaborate techniques, improving his physical and technical qualities and his self-confidence.
