promoted by indigo village, in association with ReHuNa – Network for the Humanization of Childbirth and Matriusca, the course gathers and displays information about the profession of Doula e Perinatal Educator. Doulas/Perinatal Educators are women who have the availability to care for and support physically and emotionally pregnant women and their companions, facilitating the decision of the place and way of giving birth, as well as at the time of delivery and postpartum.
The Doula belongs to the group of professionals who assist the pregnancy and puerperal cycle, proven to contribute to the lower incidence of postpartum depression and improving the breastfeeding success rate in the weeks following birth. The course will be monitored by ReHuNa/Matriusca Coordinators who will also facilitate the process, accompanying the participants full-time.Start: 14/07/2014 11:00
