Greater Florianópolis will have a free course focused on the technology area with 210 places: the FutureDEV. Classes will be held between July and December, and registrations can be made between May 09 and June 10. The initiative is a partnership between Foundation for Support to Research and Innovation of the State of Santa Catarina (Fapesc) and the National Service for Industrial Learning in Santa Catarina (SENAI/SC).
The course is part of the Program to Support the Training Course for Developers for Information Technology (IT) in the Santa Catarina Innovation Ecosystem (DEV-TI SC+TEC), which already has classes in other regions of the state. “Santa Catarina has accepted the challenge of provoking Science, Technology and Innovation Institutions (ICTIs) that are able to promote training, qualify people for the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), such as programmers, developers and other skills that are sorely needed in the job market. And Fapesc, through the DEV-TI Program, which is part of the SC + TEC program, launched some challenges to our ICTs”, explained the president of Fapesc, Fábio Zabot Holthausen.
A two-step selection process will be carried out. The first will have 15 multiple-choice questions about general knowledge (Portuguese, mathematics and logic), and the second will have 15 multiple-choice questions about specific knowledge (computer basics, HTML, CSS and programming logic).
When registering on the website, the candidate will receive by e-mail the guidelines and access credentials for the virtual environment where he will carry out the selection process. After accessing, the candidate will have up to three hours to solve the tests, being able to choose the best day and time for the exam. The selection process will be available for completion during the application period. The results of the classifieds will be announced on June 14 on the website: https://cadastro.sc.senai.br/futurodev.
The course is divided into three modules: Basic introduction to the computing universe; Development of initial skills for developers; and Web Development.
