In 2002, the United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization (Unesco) established World Philosophy Day. This date is now celebrated on the third Thursday of November of each year. In commemoration of this day, the New Acropolis Organization holds the event Philosophy week, this year in its 12th edition, which will have as its central theme Philosophy, Education and Training for the Human Being.
