Valentine's Night at João de Barro Restaurant

The traditional valentine's night at the restaurant Rufous Hornero has a very special meaning: there were witnessed many love stories, marriage proposals, reconciliations and the most original and enchanting madness of love. That's why the day will be special: live music with Ana Luiza and Luca (vocals, piano/guitar), decoration of the room, souvenirs for those in love, candlelight and heating by fireplaces.

In addition to the carefully selected repertoire of live music, the show will feature the traditional tribute to the Island and will be adapted to honor couples with very romantic music. At the exit, the couple will still have the possibility to win another souvenir, which will be drawn (don't forget to get your number). The evening menu will have two options:

Option 1: Welcome drink: The couple will be welcomed with a drink for two and a mini cover charge. Starter (for 2 people, to choose): Carpaccio File Mignon; Salmon Carpaccio; Shrimp Coquille; Provoleta (simple, Neapolitan or tropical) Mixed Salad with Palm Hearts; Capresse salad; Vitel Thonne.

Main course (individual, to choose): Talharim João de Barro with File Mignon or Chicken Breast; Shrimp João de Barro; Bombay lamb; Filet with Champignon; Roquefort sole; Ricotta and Walnut Sorrentinos; homemade gnocchi; Salmon Filet in Hollandaise Sauce; Grilled Salmon Filet with Almonds; Fish and Shrimp Moqueca; Carrot and zucchini noodles (vegan).

Desserts (for 2 people, to choose from): João de Barro Cake (cream ice cream, dulce de leche mousse and meringues); Dulce de leche pancakes with ice cream; Chocolate petit gateau with cream ice cream; Traditional brownie, with nuts or black diamond with ice cream; Fruit salad with ice cream.

Option 2: Fondue. Welcome drink: The couple will be welcomed with a drink for two and a mini cover charge. Cheese Fondue: Fondue with Emmenthal and Gruyere cheese, served with hot rolls, apple, turkey sausage, mushrooms, pine nuts, gnocchi, guava, broccoli, quail eggs, carrots and boiled potatoes.

Extra grilled meats: Filet mignon (150 grams) and chicken (150 grams) cut into cubes, accompanied by five homemade sauces.

Chocolate Fondue: Served with seasonal fruits, marshmallows, carrot cake, walnuts and rice flakes.
