O floripa connects will take place throughout the city on August 4th and 14th, with more than 30 attractions in the areas of technology, gastronomy, entrepreneurship, culture and tourism, among other sectors that drive the creative economy of the Capital.
Some projects will make their debut during the event. It is the case of Florianopolis Festival of Lights, an unprecedented event that will take to Lagoa da Conceição, the Center and the SC-401 media art shows using drones and mapped projection. Another novelty is the Pop Pride Festival, with Pabllo Vittar, Lia Clark and 8 other artists with eight hours of music.
There will also be Friends of Monte Serrat Fair, on the 6th of August. The Fair will be in one of the historic neighborhoods of the Massif do Morro da Cruz, in the Center. Another highlight is the project Children's trails, which promotes affective experiences with the island's biomes for children. This activity is scheduled for August 13th.
In the North of the Island, the Maria da Ilha Fair proposes the recognition of the city through its typical gastronomy and culture. After all, Florianópolis has been recognized since 2004 by the Creative Cities Network by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a “Creative City in the area of Gastronomy”.
To appreciate the music Music Sessions Floripa, will occupy different locations on the Island and, for the first time, will have an edition in the Center. And for those who like authorial music, it is worth checking out the celebration of 10 years of the Skrotes. The instrumental music trio made history on the island and will occupy the Centro Integrado de Cultura (CIC) with a show, exhibition and film show, among others.
O Soul Festival is also one of the novelties of this edition of Floripa Conecta. The event features shows with renowned artists, such as Hamilton de Holanda and Curumim.
To enhance the musical production made by women, the DasMina Producer presents an event with female artists at Skate Drink Floripa, in the Historic Center.
In turn, the Business Wheels between producers, cultural agitators, entrepreneurs and entities. These rounds will be held after the 14th with the purpose of promoting and facilitating collaborations and cooperation between those who work in the area. The second novelty are training workshops for producers, with topics ranging from fundraising via incentive laws to how to compete in public notices, for example.
