! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

The fourth edition of the program Skylight from Masc receives the project NAMBLA XOKLENG, By Monica Nador and JAMAC. The title places on the Museum's agenda its demonstration against the murder of Marcondes Namblá, an indigenous person from Terra Ibirama-La Klãnõ, located in the municipality of José Boiteux, in the Itajaí Valley. Murdered in the early hours of January 1, 2018, in Penha, Namblá was one of the few figures responsible for teaching the Xokleng language in the region. Nador has been developing his production since 1980, integrating the generation of artists who would begin to question the space of painting in the art scene.
