Lela Martorano uses photography as a language to reflect on the passage of time and question the ability of memory to keep memories and recollections objectively. The artist's works are the result of the relentless exploration of the image and its projection, and are often constructed using analog devices. The appropriation of slides and super-8 films produced by her father in the 70s constituted the basis for the development of this process, which transits between photography and video installation.
