Combining still photography with videos and film projection on film, the exhibition Hatch effect, which is curated by Peter MC, brings the artists Diego de los Campos, Raquel Stolf, Bill Lühmann, Ruth Steyer, Lia Letícia, Irma Brown, Abel Alencar, Pedro Veneroso, Rodrigo Amboni, Mercedes Rodrigues, Lucas Ruiz, Julia Varela, Diego Canarin and Julia Amaral, whose proposal was to compose narratives on 16mm reversible film aboard a floating laboratory. The work, winner of the Visual Arts category of the Edital Catarinense Elisabete Anderle 2014, questions the appropriation of territory and the geographical boundaries between land and sea; the fluctuation alludes to the unfinished, always in process trying to translate the situation of the artist in search of solid ground.
