the artist from Santa Catarina Eli Heil completes 50 years of career. To celebrate, his works are being exhibited in several museums in Santa Catarina. At the Victor Meirelles Museum, the lesser known works from the artist's black and white phase are on display for the public. Eli started making black and white drawings after being diagnosed with anemia: "If I lose color, so do the works", explains the artist. The works on display were produced between the 60s and 90s. Before the official opening, Eli participates in the Meeting with the Artist, also in the museum.
