Composite images of Joi Cletison, enlarged size 80X100cm, the display Azores, at the Nucleus of Azorean Studies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, presents images that were taken in several islands of the Azores Archipelago. The images show architecture, popular festivals, traditional customs, and the natural beauties of the archipelago. The islands of Pico, São Jorge, Terceira, Graciosa, Faial, São Miguel and Corvo are depicted. Also part of this show are various objects from the Collection of the Azorean Studies Center such as: viola de dois hearts, Coroa do Espírito Santo, fiddle, folk costumes and much more. The exhibition is part of the commemorations of the 270th anniversary of the arrival of Azorean emigrants to populate Santa Catarina.
