Souls of Brazil Exhibition

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

A lens was what brought the photographer Maristela Giassi closer to the Indians in the villages of Greater Florianópolis and Acre. The photographs will be in the Almas do Brasil exhibition and in the book of the same name, scheduled for release on November 21. Indigenous people from 5 villages were photographed: those from the villages of Grande Florianópolis (SC) - M´Biguaçu, Aldeia do Amaral and Morro dos Cavalos, inhabited by the Guarani - and those from the villages of Acre - Rio Jordão and Novo Segredo, belonging to the Kaxinawá ethnic group ( Huni Kuin). In total, there are 16 canvases, all the result of a work using the You Paint technique - photo printed on canvas with a paint finish, a technique developed by the artist.    The book, with 96 pages, hardcover and about 40 photos, will have free distribution of up to 300 copies on the day of its launch and opening of the exhibition (21/11 at 19h).
