Bonson exhibition revisited: routes

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

In the month that marks the 12th anniversary of his death, the Florianopolitan artist Sergio Bonson (1949-2005) won an exhibition with his works at the Santa Catarina Historical Museum, a space managed by the Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (FCC) at Palácio Cruz e Sousa, downtown Florianópolis. The visitation is from Tuesday to Friday, from 10 am to 18 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10 am to 16 pm.

The show revisits part of the paths, both with regard to his artistic trajectory, and in relation to his transit in the city of Florianópolis for the elaboration of his works (drawings, watercolors, blood).

The works were selected based on a previous study, which allowed us to map the views of the city that inspired Bonson. The curator’s proposal is that the exhibition space – Sala Martinho de Haro at MHSC – be perceived as an extension of the street. For this reason, the works will be positioned more or less according to their direction in the city, in addition to being signposted on a map that suggests a possible route for the artist and the visitor.
