The photographer Jairo Cardoso open the exhibition Callejeras de Espana No. Antique Coffee Bar. Black and white and color photos are on display that capture characters on the streets of Madrid, Barcelona and Vigo, taken at the beginning of this year with a compact camera. Jairo is a photographer oblivious to the characters, invisible, stealthy, who portrays the spontaneity of human life in urban centers. The entire exhibition at Tralharia displays photos of people, but there is a rigor to the geometry and composition of lines, in scenes from ancient and modern cities, that provokes questions. "Is the girl in the picture sad, happy? Who is the man? Is he from the city or is he passing through? And those two? Are they father and daughter?" are questions suggested by the images that expose Jairo's primordial exercise in photographing people on the streets of the world.
