The exposure "Suddenly, Extraordinary!” remains open until Sunday (29), at Trapiche da Beira-Mar Norte, in Florianópolis. The exhibition celebrates the 200th anniversary of the famous German naturalist Fritz Müller, who lived in Santa Catarina for 45 years. To this end, 22 posters narrate the trajectory and explain studies carried out by Müller.

On Sunday (29) at 10 am, he will receive special visits from Blumenau, Rodrigo Ramos - Secretary of Culture of the Municipality, and Reynaldo Pfau – “double of Fritz Müller”, who will declaim poetry of the illustrious naturalist, in German.

Another presence at the closing will be that of the artist Luiz Bernardes, author of the exhibition “200 years of Fritz Müller – Príncipe dos Observadores” — shows that will continue on display at the Santa Catarina Historical Museum, at Palácio Cruz e Souza.

It will also be the public's last opportunity to participate in the “(En)tent”, an interactive activity to view specimens under a microscope and magnifying glass. Another closing day attraction is the tour “Who else lives here?”, which brings curiosities about Müller and his studies – the inscriptions for the tour are sold out on the website.

Fritz Müller was born in Germany, but emigrated to Santa Catarina in 1852, where he made several expeditions. In Brazil, the naturalist carried out numerous researches and was one of the first scientists to support the theory of evolution of the British Charles Darwin.
