Glossy, opaque, diffuse. transparent. In high and low relief. Subtle with a watercolor tone, intense as oil paint. These are some of the possibilities of serigraphy explored by Martha Dischinger e Ivan de Sa. Ivan de Sá has a degree in graphic arts from Senai, and was once a serigraphy professor at CIC and at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He is a visual artist, printmaker, and also works in cinema. Marta is an architect with a PhD from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. She is an architecture teacher. As an artist, she works mainly with woodcut, lithography and metal engraving. She is experimenting with screen printing for the first time, reinventing some of her previous work and creating new compositions, such as a sunset and thistles, species of plants.
