MIS/SC and the Santa Catarina Art Museum (Masc) are located in the same building, at the CIC, in Florianópolis, and, throughout their careers, seek to establish partnerships in the communication of their collections and in the formation of the public, mainly through its educational sectors.
Bringing together works from the two museums, proposing “dialogues” between/about them through an exhibition and also through pedagogical material aimed at teachers and educators, was something that these sectors had long desired and that is now being realized. In total, 14 works will be presented, organized in pairs, each one formed by a work by MIS/SC and one by Masc, based on a common theme, but representing different views, contexts and meanings.
