Galeria Itaguaçu + Arte, at Shopping Itaguaçu, brings the exhibition “Digitalism: The Centenary of Modernism in Brazil”, by the artist Cristiano Chaussard, to the month of January. The exhibition is available for visitation until the 6th of February, in the gallery, on Floor L2.
The artist's work is developed using digital painting techniques, using a digitizing table and digital brushes, in addition to a dose of artificial intelligence, collages of drawings and broken colors in the eternal gray. His paintings are traditionally displayed on walls or in augmented reality environments, in addition to virtual reality, such as in metaverses. Resident in Florianópolis, Cristiano Chaussard is inspired by the look of the city's beautiful landscapes. “My art is initially in identifying an enchanting scene transformed by any artistic technique into the creative image imprinted in my mind”, he says.
In addition to the visual arts, the artist is also an actor, joining Cia de Arte Irreversível, a troupe of amateur actors. He is also a graduate professor in e-commerce and strategic marketing, is the founder of Flexy Negócios Digitais, president of the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce in Santa Catarina, and vice president of the Florianópolis municipal innovation council. He has exhibited his works in the most renowned art spaces around the world, including: Hong Kong, Beijing, Porto, New York, Miami, Porto de Mós, Navegantes, São José, São Paulo, Blumenau, Florianópolis, Dubai, Berlin, Lisbon, Mira de Aire, Paris, Istanbul and Tokyo.
