This year marks the 266th anniversary of the arrival of the Azoreans to southern Brazil, specifically to the state of Santa Catarina. The exhibition tells the story of these families who arrived here and brought in their luggage a rich culture that they left in our state. Today we find marks of this cultural heritage in handicrafts, cuisine, religiosity, architecture, beliefs, myths and many other aspects. It will also be exposed sets of Costumes of Child Emperors from the city of Florianópolis, a Tambor da Folia do Espírito Santo from the city of Penha and a Fiddle from the city of Imarui, in the south of Santa Catarina.
