The city of Florianópolis will become an exhibition space: with the exhibition Gestures, by visual artist Monique Cavalcanti, known as Gugie. The exhibition is part of the final work for the Visual Arts course at Udesc and will be on display between the 10th and 13th of September, both in the streets of the city and in the Instagram (@exposicaogestos).
The show was conceived through reflections on how art is fundamental to human coexistence and how it allows us to broaden our perceptions of the people around us.
The curatorial text is signed by Francine Goudel and will also be presented at this time.
Eight canvases compose Gestos and all of them will be exposed in the streets, on walls spread across seven districts of the Capital. However, the visit via Instagram will provide a suggested route for those who want to check out the full exhibition, as well as participate online, watching the artist's videos, lives with guests and other virtual activities.
Promotion
The artist also prepared a special action in partnership with UNIKA to mark the opening and which refers to the preview - the brewery will send a surprise gift to the first 12 who contemplate the works. To participate is simple: just photograph one of the works and make a post our stories to hashtag of the #euvigestos exhibition, follow the brewery and the project profile. The production will contact you to send the treat.
Regulations
For everyone's safety, the use of masks is mandatory. If other people are contemplating the work, we recommend that you wait your turn and keep a distance of at least 1,5 m.
