Result of the Artist Residency at O Sítio, the Exhibition Image in process II: Variable Incognita, by Márcio H Mota, is an exhibition that works as a clipping of the Brasiliense artist's research on video and light. The artist reinforces the theory that video, a hybrid language, is an ambiguous, deformed phenomenon, a flow of things, which springs up in the daily life of the Hyperindustrial Era, like a plant without character, ready to mutate in any way. Already light, cinema index, is worked as an illusory substance, almost metaphysical. Lighter than gas, it is a creative source of fictions of the senses. Incógnita Variável brings together works from different phases of the video artist's experimentation process. Volumetric cinema, phantasmagoria, music and light image are present in the works that address political and everyday issues.
