The exposure Pixote: the still art in cinema honors the photographer Lúcio Flávio Giovanella Pixote, who died early in 2017. The exhibition is curated by Pedro MC and Zeca Nunes Pires and is organized by the Cultural Artistic Department (DAC)/SeCArte/Ufsc and Cinemateca Catarinense, with support from the 22nd Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosur (FAM 2018). It contains 20 panels, measuring (40 x 60) cm, with several film images in each one, plus four individual photos, an opening panel, film posters and texts by Sylvio Back, Ronaldo dos Santos, Eduardo Paredes. Lúcio Flávio worked in several films of Santa Catarina cinema as a scene photographer (still) — professional accompanying the filming, doing the making of of the work and producing photos to be used for publicity in the press, posters and folders. The photographer acted as a still in eight films.
