Silhouettes and Phantasmagoria, presented by Museum of the Santa Catarina School, is the artist's first solo exhibition Manuela Siebert, and is part of his course conclusion project in Visual arts from State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC).
The exhibition consists of 12 large-scale paintings, one of which is a triptych and some images of the artist's creation process. The artist explores a painting process that deviates from the traditional painting methods as a way of adapting her techniques and procedures to the subjects addressed by her works. In addition, she questions the objectification of women, stereotyped bodies, violence, sexuality and the fetish.
