Beiramar Shopping presents the exhibition Fritz Müller and Desterro: fundamental to Darwin's Theory, a work by historian Ana Maria Ludwig Moraes, bringing historical records of Fritz Müller's correspondence with scientists, among them Darwin, and the relationship between the theory of evolution of the species. The exhibition alludes to the 120th anniversary of Fritz Müller's death, celebrated in 2017 and is also part of a commemoration circuit until 2020, when the 200th anniversary of Müller's birth will be celebrated.
