A Universe of Countless Things Exhibition, by Pati Peccin, is installed in Martinho de Haro room at the Cruz e Sousa Palace. The show comprises a series of collages that highlight the principles of composition and explore the expressive power of the characters, which are created from images of everyday objects, junk and antiques. The works are poetic narratives and create a subjective literature, with typed and cut texts. The artist explores the hybridity of techniques and material research, using images from science books, technical drawings and magazines, interfering with ink, embroidery and drawing, to create creatures with a futuristic symbolic force.
