The artist Jair Martins presents fifteen canvases that represent the universe of culture of the Island of Santa Catarina. In the works, strong colors, overlapping planes and sinuous and geometric lines. Graduated in visual arts from Udesc, Jair has been painting for over 20 years, since childhood, and was influenced by the interaction with his brothers and painters Nildo, Wilson and Marcos Martins. With ease in drawing and painting, he chose to approach the cultural manifestations of the city where he was born. Passionate about the Island, his painting seeks to perpetuate the main heritage and anthropological icons of Florianópolis in an atmosphere in which tradition and contemporaneity produce an aesthetic intersection.
