The tradition of worshiping the Holy Spirit is an authentic popular manifestation of the coast of Santa Catarina. The altar honors the potter and his activities in the art of pottery. The essences present in this cult remain alive to the present day. The ceremony also marks the opening of the festivities for the Feast of the Holy Spirit.
