The exhibition is part of the program for the 8th Spring of Museums, events promoted annually by the Brazilian Institute of Museums, Ibram, in museums, foundations and institutions across the country. In this edition, the chosen theme is Creative Museums.
Promoted by the German artist Pauline Zenk, the exhibition is based on a new interpretation of old photographs from Brazil. The artist carried out extensive research in flea markets, schools, libraries and archives, in addition to many other means, with the idea that an image can be considered as a window to another reality, in addition to the lighting of space, the relationship between strange and intimate, the known and the unknown, the private and the public.
