the german artist Pauline Zenk share the exhibition with the public Migratory Memories. The unpublished work was selected by the Foundation's 2015 public notice and rescues, through drawings, interventions on photographs and paintings on canvas, the immigrants who arrived in Brazil in the last century.
For the realization of the work, the artist sought materials in photographs found in markets, photographic archives, museums and in private collections. She had access to more than 100 photographs of immigrant families, many of them from Santa Catarina. The exhibition is made up of more than 40 works, which deal with the concepts of identity, belonging, diversity, integration, culture and memory. Most of the exhibition is small drawings and realistic and surrealistic watercolors, which is a technique, which has not received much attention in recent years, and stands out for this uniqueness in time.
