Hermitage Museum is the destination of the next edition of Virtual Museums

Founded in 1764, the Hermitage Museum is an immense complex made up of six palaces and pavilions located next to the Neva River, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Such magnitude is the result of the appreciation for the art of Empress Catherine II, considered one of the greatest patrons in history. Now, the public can get to know the place and its collection more closely in the project session Virtual Museums. Cultural Marathon Institute, scheduled for this Saturday (04), at 15h.

The Museum complex is made up of more than 300 rooms with more than 3 million objects from different cultures. And during the “visit”, the art-educator Claudio Toscan will showcase collections of Italian, Dutch, Spanish art and Canova's neoclassical sculptures.
