the artist from São Paulo Manuela CostaLima walked along the edge of Florianópolis for more than a week, that she collected marine stones that form the set of this work, called stops. The exhibition's name is based on the morphology of the word: Act of stopping; place where you stop; part of the sea close to land and accessible to navigation.
stops it is therefore the result of a real path along the edge where the collection of marine stones was carried out.
