O Santa Catarina Art Museum (Masc), considered the second oldest venue of its kind in the country, starts the month of February reinvigorating its programming with four new projects. Among them, a voluminous exhibition by the plastic artist Silvio Pleticos. At the age of 94, the Croatian painter based in Santa Catarina since the 1960s opens his February solo exhibition, bringing together around 60 works. The exhibition focuses on paintings developed by the artist from the end of the 1960s, when he began to use the technique of scrawled in an original way to achieve the results you were looking for. These works become his trademark. Most of the works on display belong to the artist's collection, in addition to eight works from the Collaço Paulo Collection and two panels from the Clube 12 de Agosto collection, in Florianópolis, and which are being restored especially for this exhibition.
