
Saturday is the day to travel through museums around the world without leaving home. This time the Virtual Museums project will take the public to Italy, visiting works by the artist Raphael sanzio. The online broadcast, at 15 pm, will be conducted by the art educator Claudio Toscan. Can be seen on Instagram @institutomaratonacultural and by youtube.com/maratonacultural.
The project, which was originally carried out at Paradigma Cine Arte, has adapted to social distancing measures to contain the spread of the Coronavirus and is holding sessions online.

For this season, 10 new themes focused on the biography of world-renowned artists such as Van Gogh, Salvador Dalí and Frida Kahlo, among others, were integrated into the program.
The Virtual Museums 2020 project is carried out by the Instituto Maratona Cultural through the Municipal Law of Incentive to Culture of Florianópolis, with cultural support from the Corporate Park.

In 2020, Rafael Sanzio celebrates his 500th anniversary. The artist from Urbino, Italy, was a master of painting and architecture of the Florence school, who became a favorite of the papacy and a reference of the high Renaissance in the XNUMXth century. In this session, his work will be covered by taking a virtual tour of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence and Stanza di Raffaello in the Vatican, where, among other paintings, the celebrated one will be seen"school of athens".
