Studio Vanda Rodrigues brings seven artists to the Itaguaçu + Arte space, from October 3rd to November 6th, sharing concepts about drawing and painting through the reproduction of the visible and the creation of the imaginary. Entitled “oQ HabiTa em Mim”, the pieces celebrate the artistic practice that becomes a window of escape, bringing to the viewer the entire essence of the art research developed every year.
In addition to Vanda Rodrigues, responsible for the studio, the artists Iasmin Del Pozzo, Maria Eduarda Costa, Maria Rosa Novak, Nicoly de Matos, Sara Borba and Gorete Borges participate in this exhibition at Shopping Itaguaçu, with support from Café Paris and Camicado.
Inside the studio, drawing and painting are worked on, always paired with each artist's social environment, with Surrealism refinements that express fantasies, joys, dreams, ghosts and questions, especially those around us. Regardless of the technique, they all have the same concept: the human being is unique and extraordinary, capable of transposing through lines, shapes and colors everything that hurts, happy, elevates and strengthens him.
The Itaguaçu + Arte Project honors and promotes local artists, always curated by Chris Ribeiro, in each monthly exhibition. The “oQ HabiTa em Mim” exhibition features exclusive works and is open for viewing until November 6th, on Floor L2, with free entry. For more information, check out the mall's social media.
