Florianópolis receives the first edition of Veg Island - Gastronomy and Vegan Products Fair. The event begins with a meditation guided by the international organization Art of Living. The fair also has several options for: exhibition and sale of food, cosmetics, t-shirts, bags, handicrafts and books. The food sold at the fair ranges from raw and frugal options (live food), to gluten-free, sugar-free and low-sodium foods, to junk food, all options are vegan. The venue for the event is Associação Confia, which located at Rua Vitória Régia, 406 - Córrego Grande.
