A Friends and Protectors of Animals in Palhoça (APRAP) holds an event to Animal Adoption, rescued on the street. To carry out the adoption, it is necessary to present ID and proof of address, sign a term of responsibility and pay a fee of R$ 35 to help with the costs of the institution. For visitors who want to help but cannot adopt a pet, it is possible to make donations of food, blankets, medication or any pet product, in addition to sums of money reverted to accommodation and vaccines.
