Located along the central alley of the Paulo Fontes Avenue, next to the Municipal Public Market, the Maricota Fair, where local traders settle to exhibit and sell the most varied types of handmade products. Handicrafts of the most varied types are found at the fair: items range from toys to objects for the home and decoration. It also has the gastronomy with several options of traditional islet cuisine (like the cockle pastel) and the national cuisine (acarajé, for example), bringing more culture and flavor to visitors.
