The invitation to tender for the Florianopolis City Hall protocols for New Year's Eve predict five ferries. Four are scheduled to be on the edge of the North Seaside, and one of them, near the Hercílio Luz bridge - which has not hosted a fireworks display since 2016. Lighting will brighten the bridge even more, and from it will emerge the traditional cascade of fireworks. The bidding provides for 12 minutes of fireworks on the ferries, plus 3 minutes on the bridge.
