O Florianópolis' 347th birthday, is celebrated on March 23, a municipal holiday for Florianopolis residents. On that occasion, the traditional cake cuts are organized at specific points on the Island of Magic. In addition City Hall of Florianópolis promotes a free concert schedule e cultural activities scattered throughout the city.
