Eder the Rock is a technician in classical percussion and a researcher of Brazilian percussive expression. He was part of orchestras and symphony bands in northeastern Brazil, as well as the group Mestre Ambrósio, an icon of the manguebeat movement in the 1990s. his workshops, which are the fruits of his apprenticeship as a drummer for the Nação Estrela Brilhante de Recife since 1993, in addition to being a member of the Ponto BR Project along with other icons of Brazilian popular culture.
O drag island is the oldest maracatu group in activity on the island, which has 13 years of existence spreading the culture of Maracatu de Baque Virado on Ilha da Magia.
