This Sunday, at Noca's house, the collectives I-land Rebel and Geografya Soundsystem promote the Celebratory Ball, with the aim of raising funds to bring the Jamaican Johnny Osbourne The island. The group Geografya Soundsystem, which is made up of eight lovers, researchers and collectors of Jamaican music and culture, was born in 2011 at Bosque do CFH, at UFSC. The musicians' repertoire prioritizes the ska and rocksteady phases, without leaving aside roots & culture and rub-a-dub classics.Music, Gastronomy and Art. These are the pillars of the house that seeks multiculture and the transversality of the arts. The aim is to renew the idea of bar food, without losing practicality.
