At the Fiddle Ball, Maciel Salú praises the instrument that has accompanied him since the beginning of his musical career in the early 1990s. Present in all 10 tracks of the CD, the fiddle gains new timbres in each of them. It is possible to walk between the raw and baroque sound of the popular fiddle and the contemporary when the artist makes use of the electronic effects of his pedals. So Maciel Salú brings knowledge of the past and contemporaneity without losing or hurting his identity. The Rabeca, an instrument known for its peculiar sound, its raw and baroque sound of a popular instrument, gains, in the hands of the artist, a contemporary guise, either by the use of electronic effects of pedals, or by merging with unusual rhythms that are part of the the artist's personal and cosmopolitan repertoire.
