The band marelua is preparing a very special dance with the repertoire dedicated to the masters of samba-rock. Tim Maia and Jorge Ben Jor are just two of the big names that will appear at Balaio de Gato. The group proposes to do true and pure samba/rock, seeking to rescue the roots of this movement, valuing the swing and thus awakening an interest in dance that is little remembered today. The influences are diverse and from different aspects of music, but always respecting the language of “sambalanço”, maintaining a strong and characteristic identity. Among the rhythms explored we can highlight: Samba/Rock, Funk, Soul, Samba de Gafieira, Partido Alto, Jazz, Salsa, Rock N' Roll, Bossa Nova, Modern Instrumental Music.
