John Bull Floripa produces the show of the legendary band black river, which celebrates more than 40 years of its first album, the famous maria smoke. First time in the city and in style: celebrating the date as it should be, with a fusion of funk, soul, jazz and samba. The band emerged in the late 1970s, in a scenario where black music represented more than a rhythm. The so-called Black Rio Movement grew in the suburbs of Rio, bringing together thousands of people at dances and spreading across the country, seeking to affirm black identity.
