O Taliesyn Rock Bar organizes a special event to show that people who like good old rock n' roll also celebrate the most famous and traditional party in Brazil. In the bar's celebration, however, there is no King Momo, because at Taliesyn the real king is Elvis; there is no samba school, but there is a rock school; there's drums, there's revelry and there's rock in the foot. The musicians and the public shake the house from the afternoon until the turn from Saturday to Sunday. Who makes the revelry are the bands Os Cafonas, Esporão de Bagre and Diamonds in The Dark, beyond DJ Calvin T. The band's rock 'n' roll doctorates the tacky bring their characteristic dancing sound, already known in the house. THE Catfish spur, band Manezinha, makes a sound that brings the junction of folk, blues and classic rock, with its own footprint, presenting songs about life on land and sea. THE Diamond in the Dark has impressed more with each show. Oliver Silvestre (drums), Luiz Henrique - Diki - (bass), Nicolas Mattei (guitar), Bruno Felix (guitar) and Tiago Meurer (vocals), present their own versions, but without deviating from the style, of the songs of the British band Arctic Monkeys , in a more than special tribute. And to stir up the crowd even more and leave everything in a more festive mood, the DJ Calvin T has its own space to command the sound of the bar. The carnival of bands starts at 14 pm and admission is free, on Carnival Saturday.
