Famous for its grandeur, the Parade of samba schools in Florianópolis has been held since 1987 at the Nego Quirido catwalk. The samba schools Embaixada Copa Lord, Consulado, Protegidos da Princesa, Nação Guarani, Dascuia, and Unidos da Coloninha brighten the catwalk in this edition. Popularly known as the Giant of the Continent, the school States of Colonine presents a plot that pays homage to the city of Balneário Camboriú, a reference in Santa Catarina tourism. The plot is titled: Between forests, sun, sea and sand, the Brazilian Dubai emerges. A consulate, from the Saco dos Limões neighborhood, chose to take to the catwalk a plot about love: a story told from the perspective of the character Homem de Lata in the work Wizard of Oz. The title of the plot is Où l'amour sera roi - Where love will be king. With a proposal for this year, the Dascuia honors Santa Catarina fashion designer Gesoni Pawlick. The school draws a parallel with Greek mythology, with Gesoni being one of those chosen to propagate the legacy of Apollo, God of Arts and Order. The plot presented is What clothes should I wear? To the enchanted world of Gesoni Pawlick. THE Copa Lord Embassy brings the sun as the central theme of the plot - approaching the human relationship with the star as an element of life, cultural, religious, symbol and representation. The Master of the Sky is the title of the plot. Based on the folkloric culture of Boi Caprichoso, one of the two rival boi-bumbá clubs that compete annually in the Parintins Folklore Festival, in Amazonas, the Palhocense school Guarani Nation presents the plot: Guarani I am your people, I am a nation, I am capricious. The school of Morro do Mocotó The Princess's Protected parades based on African culture and the influence of the black population. The plot A Feast of the Orixás, by Marquinho do Cavaco, is the theme chosen to honor the 70 years of the school, completed on October 18, 2018.

Values: R$ 40 (full) and R$ 20 (half). Tickets are sold at Passarela Nego Quirido. Half-price tickets can only be purchased in the presence of the holder, bearing his CPF. On March 09, 2019, a special parade by the samba school elected champion of the Greater Florianópolis 2019 Parade of Sambas Schools is scheduled. Admission to the parade is free.
