Farewell to the Karibu band – Casa de Noca

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

A Karibu will retire and the farewell will be in style in a show that will make a tour of everything that happened during his existence. The night will also feature the release of the live CD of the tour made on the Sesc circuit in 2014.

The name 'KARIBU' is a term from the African language "Swahili" and expresses greetings. Formed in early 2010, KARIBU was born in the city of Florianópolis. The proposal is quite simple: three friends, three musicians from different backgrounds and musical styles, willing to offer through their compositions a variety of emotions and feelings.

Focused on their own compositions, the group released their debut album with the participation and collaboration of friends such as Diogo Valente (harmonica), Ricardo "Kadu" Müller (violin), Carol Miranda (percussion) and Jacqueline Marissol (vocals).

The compositions are mostly by François Muleka with arrangements by the group, but there are also partnerships with João Amado, Diogo Valente and a reinterpretation of a song by Mani Carneiro. An independent production that brings different compositions and exudes influences ranging from rock to pop, from jazz to the rhythms of Congo, Latin America and Brazil.
