Can you imagine New York without a tattoo?! Jonathan Shaw is one of those responsible for the popularization and legalization of tattooing in the Big Apple. He learned to tattoo in Latin American ports and founded Fun City in 1976, the oldest studio in NY, where tattoo artists like Filip Leu and Chris Garver, and artists like Johnny Depp and Iggy Pop passed. Fostering the East Village underground scene in the 90's. Today, he is known as the "next Bukowski" and has released 3 books based on his story.
