This Thursday has Tom Jobim Special na Noca's house! The night will pay tribute to the great composer and conductor of Brazilian music Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim, with the musical direction of the musician and composer Leandro Fortes. To complete, in addition to the many sambas in the most diverse partnerships, the group promises to explore the other side of the artist, with pearls in the rhythm of frevo, xote, baião, maracatu!
One of the creators of Bossa Nova, Tom Jobim is considered by many to be the greatest exponent of all time in Brazilian music. Among them, his most remarkable partnership was with the poet Vinícius de Moraes. Where he started with the play “Orfeu da Conceição” in 1956 and won the world with the birth of Bossa Nova in 1959. In the 60's Tom Jobim was the best known Brazilian musician in the USA, performing several partnerships with Frank Sinatra.
